NNN pre-conference session: Pathways to well-being for people affected by leprosy and NTDs

 The Leprosy Mission International, The Leprosy Mission Ethiopia and the Ethiopian National Association of Persons affected by Leprosy are co-hosting a forum Pathways to well-being for people-affected by leprosy & other Neglected Tropical Diseases: critical research questions on 22nd September 2018 in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia.

The objectives of the day are:

  1. To discuss how we can better address disability and discrimination related to leprosy & NTDs
  2. To promote mutual learning across & within NTD organisations.
  3. To promote mutual learning across and between Mass Drug Administration (MD) & Intensive Disease Management (IDM) NTDs.
  4. To identify critical research questions for achieving zero disability and zero discrimination for people affected by leprosy and other NTDs. 

The day will be a combination of keynote talks, presentations and workshops looking at disability and discrimination related to neglected tropical diseases. Speakers include people affected by NTDs and global experts on disability and discrimination from the International Federation of Anti-Leprosy Associations (ILEP) and the Neglected Tropical Disease NGO Network (NNN).We welcome all those coming to the NNN conference to come two days early and join in with the forum.> >For further information and details of how to register, contact jannine [dot] ebenso [at] leprosymission [dot] org (>)
