As the COVID-19 pandemic progresses, we have been closely monitoring the situation and its possible impact on the NNN Conference scheduled for 8th - 10th September 2020. The health and safety of our delegates is our number one priority and as such the NNN Executive Committee has taken the unfortunate but absolutely necessary decision to conduct this year’s conference virtually and move our physical conference to 2021 in Nepal.
There will still be an opportunity this year for our community to connect, learn and share ideas through the NNN Virtual Conference, which will take place on the originally planned dates, 8th - 10th September 2020. Please keep these dates in your diaries and we will share details on how to register and access the Virtual Conference in due course.
The workshops will be structured under the components of the BEST (Behaviour, Environment, Social Inclusion & Equity and Treatment & Care) Framework and all aligned with the theme of the NNN 2020 - Accelerating to 2030: Building Resilient NTD Programs in a Changing World. Please note that workshop proposal submission is now closed.
Successful workshop proposals will be notified by email by 8 June 2020. Once successful applicants have been notified, they will be sent an editable google doc to develop and complete for both their Workshop Logistics and Workshop Agenda. We ask that this is completed in time for the information to be uploaded onto the system before the app launch, by 27 July 2020.
More information on the format for this years' conference to be released in due course.
