Médecins Sans Frontières (MSF)
Médecins Sans Frontières (MSF) is an independent international medical humanitarian organization. We have operations in more than 60 countries around the world, particularly in humanitarian settings. We have developed specific activities for several NTDs across our programs, including snakebite envenoming, visceral leishmaniasis, cutaneous leishmaniasis, noma, schistosomiasis, dengue, rabies and scabies. Our interventions are primarily focused on diagnosis and individual case management, but also increasingly include health promotion and community engagement.
MSF also strongly advocates for political prioritization of NTDs at the international and national levels, and for models of innovation that can foster research and development of new tools against NTDs.
