Mectizan Donation Program
Established in 1987, the Mectizan Donation Program (MDP) is the longest-running, disease-specific, drug donation program and public/private partnership of its kind. MDP is a program at the Task Force for Global Health established to provide medical, technical, and administrative oversight of Merck & Co., Inc.'s* donation of Mectizan. Additional support is provided by GSK. *Merck is known as MSD outside North America.
