FAIRMED

Since 1959, FAIRMED (formerly known as Swiss Emmaus Leprosy Relief) has been instrumental in combating neglected tropical diseases. FAIRMED is a Swiss foundation that promotes access to basic healthcare for the poorest communities in Asia and Africa. Aiming at breaking the vicious circles interacting between poverty and disease, FAIRMED strives for a world where no one has to suffer poverty-related diseases and no one is discriminated against due to mental or physical disability. FAIRMED's core work revolves around three thematic pillars: 1) Neglected Tropical Diseases, 2) Neglected Communities, 3) Disability.
