CBM Global

CBM Global works alongside people with disabilities in the world’s poorest places to break the cycle of poverty and disability and build inclusive communities where everyone can enjoy their human rights and fulfil their full potential. Driven by Christian values, we work with the most marginalised in society, irrespective of race, gender or religion, recognising the equal worth of every individual.  Our programmes across Africa, Asia and Latin America are developed and delivered with local partner organisations to ensure long-term transformation and accountability and in keeping with the principle of “nothing about us without us” we work closely with Organisations of Persons with Disabilities.

We deliver a combination of inclusive community-based programmes, advocacy for national and global policy change and inclusion advice to other organisations. Programmes span disability-inclusive community development and humanitarian action, community mental health and inclusive eye health; tackling neglected tropical diseases, the elimination of avoidable blindness and improvement of access to inclusive and comprehensive eye health services. Our work on NTDs includes bringing our mental health and disability inclusion expertise to support inclusive and integrated NTD programming with others.
