AG NTDs (German NTDs Youth Initiative)

The Working Group on Neglected Tropical Diseases (AG NTD) was founded in 2024 within the German Society for Tropical Medicine, Travel Medicine and Global Health (Deutsche Gesellschaft für Tropenmedizin, Reisemedizin und Globale Gesundheit, DTG). We are committed to raising awareness of NTDs, especially among young people, and to inspiring their active involvement in research and clinical practice. Through collaboration with partners and youth initiatives worldwide, we seek to build strong international networks and foster interdisciplinary cooperation in order to drive progress toward the control and elimination of NTDs.
