NNN Conference 2023

 The 14th Annual NNN Conference will take place 19-21st September 2023 in Dar Es Salaam, Tanzania.

The theme for the 2023 NNN Annual Conference is "Reaching new frontiers - powering a new generation of leadership and cross-sectoral collaborations to end NTDs." The theme reflects NNN's commitment to cross sectoral collaborations and partnerships centering endemic voices in the fight against NTDS. It stands on the pillars of the WHO NTD Roadmap and also forms the basis of our sub-themes:

  • Addressing social determinants of health
  • Advancing health equity for hard-to-reach communities (to include gender, disability, refugees, IDPs)
  • Building evidence for action
  • Communication / Advocacy 
  • Cross-sectoral streams 
  • Health systems strengthening & capacity building
  • Mental health NTDs and quality of life
  • Technological innovation & solutions

Conference location

The NNN 2023 Conference will take place 19-21st September 2023 at the Hyatt Regency, Dar-es-Salaam, Tanzania.

Agenda

The conference agenda will feature a diverse range of workshops and presentations. Conference delegates can expect to participate in 12 workshops, each lasting 90 minutes, with three parallel sessions from which to choose. Additionally, there will be two rapid-fire sessions. These sessions will be spread out over the course of the three-day conference. There will also be dedicated sessions set aside for NNN's disease-specific and cross-cutting group meetings. Finally, the NNN will also hold events to foster regional NNN networks, and bolster youth network against NTDs.

The 2023 conference will provide in-person delegates opportunities to reconnect with colleagues, learn about programme innovations and adaptations, and be inspired by speakers representing a diversity of experiences and perspectives.
